[SOLVED] 16TB drive detection error

Post by Wakdikyat on Sun Oct 22, 2017 1:12 pm

Please your solved solutions here so other people can try also.

For me [SOLVED the dectection of 16TB].  Here's how:

(per Chris's advise) (from this FB post 10/20/17)

N:\8TB+ Drive\ (contains all roms folder)

Originally, when I FTP the drive, it put some in "N:\8TB+ Drive "and some on the root of N:\
I moved them into N:\8TB+ Drive\ and it detected properly.

New problem: not sure if the N:\ drive is sync properly.  It had 0 update, so I tried delete some some and add some new folders, and it didn't delete the new folders for reloaded the roms.  But it's at least a step in the right direction.

Ok, sounds good. I went ahead and place all the folders in the 'N:\8TB+ Drive' except the 'Syncovery 16TB Profile' and '8TB+ Media,' zip drive, please see highlighted files on the screenshot. Should I place the 'Syncovery 16TB' and '8TB+ Media' zip file in the 'N:\8TB+ Drive as well?'

That's how mine look, I think the 16TB Profile gets deleted after syncing.

NICE...that resolve the 16TB detection issue. After placing the 'Rom' folders in the '8TB+ Drive' folder, I was also told by Chris to delete the  'Syncovery 16TB' folder and '8TB+ Media' zip folder, he said there is no need for them anymore. All you should see in the root of the 'N' drive is '8TB+ Drive' folder. (See screenshot below)

When you open the '8TB+ Drive' folder, inside you should see this: (see screenshot below)

That should solve the 16TB Detection issue.
