PhatArcade this is all your fault
PhatArcade posted this thread:
https://hyperarcades.forumotion.com/t448-cheap-14-9-lcd-screens-on-ebay-for-hyper-marqueedynamic-marquee-setup
Which lead me down the rabbit hole of custom Bar LCD's and I ended up with this:
Marquees are already on the drive, followed this guide and it took less than 10min to get up and running: https://hyperarcades.forumotion.com/t500-how-to-setup-hyper-marquee-on-your-drive-in-less-than-10-mins-dynamic-marquee-level-up-your-experience#2714
Worked with Kerry.he@Vitrolight.com, not cheap but man is it the coolest upgrade! More info on someone else who did this, I think they post on this forum too? https://www.reddit.com/r/cade/comments/6xe7xj/just_got_a_strech_bar_lcd/
I got the 28" 734mm x 185mm model, $360 plus shipping. Fits the 32" RecRoomMasters Xtension Arcade cabinet like a glove, about 1 inch on either side (filled in with black foam board pieces) and the height is perfect.
My rig thread if somebody wants more specs: https://hyperarcades.forumotion.com/t432-my-xtension-arcade-cabinet

Did you have to remove the bezel to fit the screen in the marquee area? I have the same cabinet and am interested in doing this.

Not sure what you mean by bezel but the screen is just sandwiched up against one sheet of the included Plexiglass with my Logitech speakers behind it holding it vertical. I also put about inch of black poster board on each side as its about 2" narrow.

Re: PhatArcade this is all your fault
It seemed like the 185mm height for the bar lcd "outline size" would be too large to fit in the marquee area. I measured mine at about 6 inches (152mm), so I thought maybe you had stripped the lcd screen out of the shell to make it fit.

Nope, no screen modification, it is a tight fit vertically but the grooves in the wood top and bottom help and also there is about another quarter inch you can push the bottom and top wood boards apart when loosening the bolts up. No modifications to the cabinet or screen.

Re: PhatArcade this is all your fault
I have received this screen, and have it connecting and displaying video from the computer. I was wondering what video settings did you need to change to get the images to properly fill the display? I have noticed that the screen thinks it is still a full 1080p display, so Windows will by default center images on the screen, which means they look cutoff on the marquee. I could probably fix this by making custom marquee images with blank space at the bottom so the image is properly shown at the top left (visible section of the marquee). But is there an easier way to customize Windows to properly center everything on the marquee?
Thanks!
Thanks!

You need to setup Hypermarquee, and manually drag-resize the window to the displaying portion of your stretch bar lcd.

Lookup vitrolight, ebay store and an official webpage. They custom make everything so you gotta talk to them and come up with a plan.

Re: PhatArcade this is all your fault
Jenny, so the only thing you purchased was the lcd screen from vitrolight and that´s it? It came with everything needed to connect the screen to my computer?
Thank you very much for your information.
