I Need Help : how to put INI file manually in to Syncovery Directory ????
i tried to update today using Syncovery.
I got this error message
"The SyncoveryFile Download had an error. Please re-run this process and if it happens again you may need to manually put the INI file in the Syncovery Directory."
Now here is the problem, related to that message : if i have to manually put the INI file in Syncovery,it is a bit foggy explanation.
As it A do not tell where the file i'm suppose to put in Syncovery Directory is...
And B It does not tell WHERE in Syncovery Directory,i am suppose to put it.
Would be nice with some explanation so others encountering the same problem can solve it if they encounter it.
As of now i'm stuck....

Definitely try the utility on the pinned post since it copies the most recent syncovery utility to your drive and then use the update password on the pinned post. It might help but just like you I get the same thing. I have a post over in the other troubleshooting forum on it as well and even a brand new install of Windows 10 and a one day old fresh synced 5tb drive didn't help with my situation but I went from a April synced drive to a November synced drive and sounds like a lot has changed. Chris posted that he has an idea why some of us are getting this error and he might have a fix for it but didn't mention it again in today's post. Really hoping he posts a zip file with a new copilot files for us. You can tell he definitely wants to figure this out since I think we are driving him nuts on this error message plus having to do these backdoor manual syncs for us drive customers. I'm sure it will get figured out. I keep thinking it is an issue with us reaching this network hosted file or it doesn't have access to where it is copying the file on the drive.

Don’t try anything yet... servers are DOWN. It won’t work no matter what right now.
Chris has to turn servers back on, then it should work.
